Because we don’t add any additives; stabilizers and preservatives. The milk lasts 4-5 days when kept in a refrigerated and airtight container at all times. For longevity the fridge temperature should be between 4-7°c. Place in the coldest part of the fridge.

Like conventional fresh dairy milk, it cannot last long if kept outside the fridge for an extended period.

Soy and almond milk freeze well. However, you may notice a less smooth consistency. To defrost the frozen milk, place it in the fridge (not freezer) over night and shake well before using.

Because we don’t add any emulsifiers to combine liquids, fats and solids. It will separate. However, separation doesn’t not necessarily mean spoilage.

To check whether milk has gone bad you can smell it. If you get an off putting rotten/ rancid smell or if the if there is separate layer of sediment and clear liquid or both then the milk may be spoilt.

Otherwise if you observe settlement of solid and milky white liquid at the top. Shake well before use.

Don’t boil or steam the milk in any form of equipment. If you would like to use warm milk. See explanation on how to heat the milk before use. Otherwise go ahead and follow direction below:

    • Brew your coffee or heat water and mix with instant coffee.
    • Pour your hot coffee (2/3 of mug) in a mug and let it seat for a minute or two.
    • Then top with cold or warm plant based milk to your desired amount.
    • Stir and add honey or natural sweetener to taste.
    • Don’t pour hot boiling water or coffee into the milk. It will split and look spoilt.
